Dear Parents and Carers
Happy New Year to you all - I hope you all enjoyed a restful break. We look forward to welcoming all students back to school on Monday 9th January.
Uniform
Our school uniform is straight-forward and we ask that all parents/carers ensure that students are in the correct uniform. Uniform will be checked on the first day back. Any student not in the correct uniform will be asked to change into uniform provided by the school, or parents/carers may be contacted to bring in correct uniform.
Second hand uniform is available from our school reception. If you would like to enquire about purchasing any items, please email enquiries@hopevalley.chorustrust.org – we make a small charge of £1 per item. Information about our uniform can be found on the school website here.
Illness
As a school we are continuing to encourage our students to attend school as regularly as possible. If your young person is ill, please notify the school, leaving details of the illness and an expected date of return. This will help staff to support students to catch up with any missed work on their return.
Sheffield 6th Form applications
A reminder that applications for the Sheffield 6th forms and other providers should be submitted via Sheffield Progress by the 31st January. School staff have to check each application, therefore this a reminder that all applications should be completed by students on the 9th January so that staff have the opportunity to check applications and solve any issues in advance of the deadline.
